Sit down. Pick one thing. Start the clock.

Chain is a focus timer for deep work: studying, writing, coding, practising, anything that needs your full attention. It turns the time you put in into something you can see, so coming back tomorrow feels good.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick what you're working on and hold to start.
2. Focus. The timer stays out of your way.
3. Bank it when you're done. The time goes to your project and your goal, and you earn XP.

Focus for 20 minutes and today adds a link to your chain. Keep the chain going, day after day.

WHY YOU'LL COME BACK
• Your chain: one link for every day you focus.
• Levels: every session you bank moves you forward.
• Goals you can see: give a project a finish line, and every hour you put in lays a stone in its castle.
• Medals for real milestones, like your first hundred hours.
• Rewards you earn by focusing, never buy: rings for your timer, chain styles, celebrations, sounds, and the Reading Room, a lamp-lit library with rain on the windows.

FOCUS WITH FRIENDS
Add friends with a code. See who is focusing right now, what they're working toward and everyone's hours this week, and ring the anvil when someone finishes a goal. You decide what they see.

SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES
The Journal shows your week at a glance: hours per project, every session, your longest days and a calendar that fills in as you work.

MADE FOR YOUR PHONE
• A live timer in your notifications, even with the screen off.
• Leave Chain mid-session and focus pauses. Need another app for the work, like a reader or a chess board? Allow it for that session.
• A gentle reminder before your chain slips.
• Also on Windows, with sync between your devices.

FREE, NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Chain is free, with no ads and nothing to buy. Use it without an account. Sign in with a code sent to your email only if you want backup, sync between your devices, or friends.
