The recipes that matter aren't on the internet. They're on a splattered index card in your mother's drawer, in a group chat from 2019, in your aunt's head.

Kouzina gathers them into one private cookbook the whole family builds and cooks from — kept exactly as they were written, for good.

RESCUE EVERY RECIPE
• Photograph a handwritten card — even the faded, splattered ones — and Kouzina reads it into ingredients and steps, keeping the photo alongside it.
• Paste the recipe from a message, an email, or a note on your phone.
• Drop in a link and get the recipe without the pop-ups and the life story.

Every import lands as a draft you check before it's saved. Nothing is tidied, converted or "improved": if the card says a knob of butter, the recipe says a knob of butter.

IN HER HAND, AND IN HER VOICE
The photo of the original card stays with the recipe, so you can always see how she wrote it. Record her explaining the part that was never written down — how the dough should feel, how you know it's done — and the recording is kept with the recipe for whoever cooks it next.

ONE COOKBOOK, THE WHOLE FAMILY
Invite parents, cousins, the one who moved away. Everyone adds, everyone cooks. Every recipe says who added it and where it came from. Browse as ruled index cards or as photo posters, search across everything, and keep favourites to hand.

AT THE STOVE
Cook mode gives you big type, one step at a time, the next step peeking below, a timer in the header, and a screen that stays awake. Cooking for a bigger table? Scale the recipe and every quantity follows — in cups or grams, whichever you cook in.

FOR THE FAMILY ABROAD
Read a recipe in your own language, across nine languages — Yiayia's Greek beside the grandchildren's English. The original never changes; the translation sits alongside it, amounts and all.

A BOOK YOU CAN HOLD
Print the whole cookbook to PDF whenever you like, photos and all, every recipe with who it came from. Give it at Christmas; keep one in the kitchen drawer. Your recipes are never locked up: everything you put in, you can take out.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No feed, no followers, no ads. The only people who can see your cookbook are the ones you invite, or anyone you send a share link to. We never use your recipes, photos or recordings to train anything.
