GoodScrolling: Stop Scrolling, Start Giving
Do you feel like your thumb has a mind of its own? We’ve all been there—opening one app "for a second" and surfacing an hour later, feeling drained and unproductive. GoodScrolling isn't just another app blocker; it’s a behavioral science tool that turns your most distracting habits into a force for good.

How It Works
GoodScrolling adds a layer of mindfulness to your digital life. You set the limits; we provide the accountability.

Set Your Limits: Choose which apps tempt you most and how much time you want to allow yourself daily.

The Gentle Intervention: When you hit your limit, GoodScrolling gracefully overlays a reminder to stop.

The Pledge: Want more time? It’ll cost a small pledge. If you choose to keep scrolling, you agree to donate to a top-rated US charity.
Turn Distraction Into Action
Stop feeling guilty about "wasted time." With GoodScrolling, every extra minute you spend scrolling helps fund clean water, education, or disaster relief through our partnership with getchange.io.

Key Features
Real-Time Intervention: Smart overlays that catch you in the act of doomscrolling.

Charitable Integration: Seamless, secure pledges to verified 501(c)(3) non-profits.

Wellness Insights: Track your focus trends and see the real-world impact of your donations.

Privacy First: We monitor app usage locally on your device to trigger limits. We never sell your data or track your private messages.

Accessibility Service Notice:
GoodScrolling uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is in the foreground. This is the only way to enforce your screen time limits and block apps that exceed them when the daily limit is reached. The service only observes which app is active — it never reads screen content, keystrokes, passwords, or personal data. You can disable the service at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.
