Gable is a weather app for people who actually look at the radar.

Forecasts come from the National Weather Service, written by local forecasters, and the radar comes straight from NOAA: the same raw Level 3 data meteorologists use—free, with zero ads and no tracking. It also doesn't take itself too seriously. The sky on the forecast card moves with the weather, and Gable has a few opinions about it.

RADAR THAT'S ACTUALLY FREE
• High-resolution base reflectivity from your nearest NOAA station, updated every few minutes
• Native 250-meter gate resolution with true radar beam geometry and instant zooming
• National MRMS radar mosaic that follows the map as you move (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
• Press and hold anywhere on the radar to inspect exact dBZ and beam centerline altitude
• Future radar: where rain is headed over the next 3 hours (18 hours for Spotter), modeled by NOAA's HRRR
• NWS watches and warnings mapped in real time; tap any polygon for the full forecaster text
• Live station status and coverage rings, lightning strike density, and infrared satellite loops
