Keelyr is a guided maintenance app for your first year of sailboat ownership. It turns an unfamiliar boat into one you understand and can look after, with a clear, prioritised plan for what to check and when.

A new-to-you boat comes with dozens of systems, unknown history, and a long list of jobs that might need attention. It is hard to know what matters first, what is safety-critical, and what you can safely do yourself. Keelyr works that out with you.

How it works
Tell Keelyr about your vessel, its systems, how you plan to use it, and what you know of its history. Keelyr builds a prioritised maintenance plan for your first 90 days and beyond, with the safety-critical items kept front and centre.

What you get
- A task list built from your actual boat, not a generic checklist
- Safety-critical items flagged clearly so they are never missed
- Guidance on what is safe to do yourself and what needs a professional
- Maintenance logs, recurring service reminders, and a defect list
- A spare parts inventory with low-stock flags
- Cost tracking, so you can see what you have spent and what is coming
- One place for manuals, surveys, and photos, kept with the boat
- Boat memory for part numbers, filter and belt sizes, and the details that are easy to forget
- Model-aware watch items drawn from known issues for boats like yours, with their sources
- A survey brief to take with you if you are still deciding whether to buy
- Visual Check: photograph something that looks off and get a conservative, plain-language read on what to inspect next

Built around safety
Keelyr keeps the safety-critical work visible and in order. It is a planning and record-keeping aid. It does not replace a professional survey or a qualified marine technician, and it never tells you a boat is safe. It helps you ask better questions and stay on top of the work.

Whether you have just bought your first yacht or you are weighing one up, Keelyr helps you start the season organised and prepared.
