BrewNote is a homebrewing app for tracking beer, mead, cider, wine, and kombucha recipes, fermentation progress, gravity readings, and alcohol by volume (ABV). Organize every batch, save reusable recipes, import recipes from the web, and keep your brewing history in one place.

Whether you're a beginner making your first batch or an experienced homebrewer managing multiple fermentations, BrewNote helps you record what you brew and learn from every batch.

HOME BREWING RECIPE AND BATCH TRACKER

Keep your homebrew organized from recipe creation through fermentation and tasting.

- Track active, completed, and archived brewing batches.
- Record original gravity (OG) and final gravity (FG) readings over time.
- Log readings from your hydrometer or refractometer.
- Add dated fermentation entries and tasting notes.
- Review graphs of your brewing progress and historical results.

SAVE AND REUSE BREWING RECIPES

Build a personal library of homebrew recipes for your favorite beverages.

- Save ingredients, target gravities, batch sizes, and brewing notes.
- Create new batches from reusable recipe templates.
- Keep your recipes and batch records organized as your brewing process evolves.

IMPORT HOME BREWING RECIPES

Found a recipe online that you want to try? Import supported recipes directly into BrewNote and retain a link to the original source. Keep useful recipes organized alongside your own brewing notes and batch history.

BUILT-IN ABV CALCULATOR

Calculate alcohol by volume (ABV) using your fermentation measurements.

- Calculate ABV from original and final hydrometer gravity readings.
- Use beverage-specific calculation formulas for beer, kombucha, mead, cider, and wine.
- Calculate ABV using a hydrometer OG reading and a refractometer FG reading in Brix.
- Apply the Sean Terrill refractometer correction formula with an adjustable wort correction factor.

BrewNote supports the gravity-based calculations homebrewers use to monitor fermentation and estimate alcohol content.

WORKS OFFLINE — NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Your brewing records are stored locally on your device. No account creation or internet connection is required to use BrewNote's core features.

- Keep your recipes and brew logs available offline.
- Maintain a personal brewing journal on your device.
- Review past batches and tasting notes whenever you need them.

Because your data is stored locally, it is not automatically synced to a cloud account. Consider backing up important records separately if your device supports it.

Use BrewNote to document recipes, follow fermentation, calculate ABV, and remember what worked from one batch to the next.
