Indian Jungle Logs is a wildlife sighting log and field diary for India's
national parks and sanctuaries — built for safari-goers, naturalists, and
anyone who wants a real record of what they've seen, where, and when.

Most safari memories end up scattered across camera rolls, WhatsApp groups and half-filled notebooks. This app keeps them in one place, structured, searchable, and yours.

KEY FEATURES

• Log a sighting — species, date, time, park and zone, notes, and photos.
Sightings are grouped into checklists per safari, so a single drive with
five species logged becomes one clean entry, not five scattered ones.

• Browse the Field Guide — search and filter species by category (big cats,
elephants, deer, birds, reptiles), see IUCN conservation status, natural
history notes, and real photos from the community.

• Explore the parks — an interactive map covering national parks and
sanctuaries across India, with zone-level detail for major reserves
including Bandipur, Nagarhole, Kabini, Corbett, Ranthambore, Kaziranga,
Tadoba, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Satpura, Gir, Periyar, Dudhwa,
Sundarbans, and more.

• See what to expect — a smart checklist builder shows which species are
realistically active in a given park during your travel dates, so you know
what's worth looking for before you go.

• Community feed — browse verified sightings from other naturalists, like
and comment, and see what's being spotted right now across India.

• Field Journal — read trip reports and park guides written by the
community, with photos and embedded video.

• Track your own record — your profile keeps a running history of every
safari, species count, and badge earned. Checklists are viewable but not
editable after submission, so your logged history stays an honest record.

• Works offline — log sightings deep in the forest with no signal; they sync
automatically the next time you're connected.

WHO IT'S FOR

Safari-goers who want more than a camera roll. Birders building a life list.
Naturalists and guides who need a reliable safari logbook across seasons.
Wildlife photographers who want their images tied to a species, a zone, and a date. First-time visitors planning a trip who want to know what a park
actually holds.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

This isn't a generic checklist app repurposed for wildlife. Every park, zone,
and species record is India-specific, cross-checked against real reserve
boundaries and safari zones rather than generic geotags. Species pages carry real conservation status, not just a photo and a name.

A wildlife sighting log is only as good as the data behind it. Zone-level
accuracy means your Nagarahole entry knows the difference between Kakanakote and Veeranahosalli — the kind of detail that makes a record worth
keeping years later.

BUILT FOR THE FIELD

Fast entry so you're not staring at a screen while the tiger walks off.
Offline-first so a dead zone doesn't cost you the sighting. Photo attachments kept at full quality. Your entire wildlife sighting log stays accessible whether you're in a jeep in Kabini or at home planning the next trip.

PRIVACY

We collect only what a logbook needs: your account details, the sightings you choose to log, and location only when you tap "near me." No advertising trackers, no data sold to third parties. Full policy in-app and at
indianjunglelogs.com/privacy.
