Your whole day on one screen. Log the portions in every meal, plus water, caffeine, steps and
exercise, and see how the day is going. No calorie counting, no account, and everything stays on
your phone.

Portion Monitor is a portion control diet tracker. Instead of weighing food or counting calories,
you count portions from each food group: carbs, protein, dairy, fruit, vegetables, fats, nuts and
seeds. A hand-measure portion guide is built in, so you never need a scale.

TRACK YOUR DAY
- Portions at breakfast, lunch, dinner and up to three snacks
- Water, caffeine, steps and exercise minutes on the same page
- Weight and waist whenever they change
- Vegetables as a count of servings, or just a tick, whichever suits you

GOALS THAT SHOW WHERE YOU STAND
- Set a daily target or an upper limit for anything you track
- Each bar changes colour as you get close, and again if you pass it, and says so in words too
- A starter plan (water, steps, exercise, caffeine) is ready on day one; change any of it

WATCH IT ADD UP
- Reports over any period from a day to six months
- Your logging streak, days logged, averages, and where your portions come from
- Water, weight and waist over time, with a BMI and body fat estimate from your own readings

KEEP THE HABIT
- Up to five named reminders, each every day or only on a day you have logged nothing
- Home screen widgets for water, steps, exercise and caffeine: log a glass without opening the app
- Today's summary and your streak as widgets too

THE OFFLINE PORTION GUIDE
- Portion sizes measured with your hand: a fist of rice, a palm of chicken, a thumb of cheese
- Grouped by food group and by cuisine, and searchable
- Bundled with the app, so it works with no connection

YOUR DATA, YOURS
- History opens any past day from a calendar, and you can edit it
- Share a day as a picture, or the whole report
- Export everything as a CSV file, back up to your own Google Drive, restore on a new phone
- No account and no login. Nothing you log leaves your device unless you send it

MADE FOR YOUR PHONE
- Dark mode, and Material You colours that follow your wallpaper on Android 12 and later
- In English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese

WHAT IS PORTION CONTROL?
Portion control means eating from every food group in the right amounts, rather than cutting
any of them out. Knowing your portion sizes tells you roughly how much you are eating without
counting anything, and it flexes with your day, which is what makes it a habit rather than a
diet you fall off. Portion Monitor is the food diary for that habit: a portion tracker, water
tracker and activity log in one.
