Habit Tracker - Application Overview

Overview

Welcome to the next generation of personal discipline tracking. This Habit Tracker is a high-fidelity, cyberpunk-themed mobile application built in Flutter. Far beyond a typical utility checklist, the application gamifies consistency, using high-impact visual feedback and dynamic state animations to turn routine tracking into a daily mission. The interface is built upon the custom Antigravity Design System, pulling inspiration from sci-fi console dashboards. It features a deep dark-mode palette, glow rendering, and micro-animations to create a premium user experience that keeps users focused, motivated, and engaged.

Core App Features

1. The Binary Heatmap Streak Map

At the center of each habit dashboard is the redesigned Streak Map—a 52-week horizontal scrolling calendar grid. Unlike generic trackers that use gradient scales, this application employs a binary color-coded system:

Mission Clear (Checked Days): Completed days are colored in vibrant reactor green, enhanced by a soft radiant outer glow that grows stronger as streaks extend.
Encouraging Refocus (Missed Days): Missed scheduled check-ins are filled with a solid fission red and styled with a red drop shadow.
Today's Status: Today's scheduled cell features a pulsing border (pulsing red if unchecked, pulsing violet on rest days) that serves as an active visual call-to-action.
Rest Days: Unscheduled days are rendered as a faint, default border container, maintaining visual continuity without penalizing user consistency.

2. The Motivational Transmission System

Underneath the streak map sits the dynamic motivational quote console. The app incorporates a catalog of hand-curated quotes, divided into two distinct pools:

Positive Motivation: Displayed on completed/checked days to celebrate discipline and cement habits.
Encouraging Recovery: Displayed on missed or unchecked days to inspire resilience, focus on self-compassion, and drive restarts.

Quotes are mapped using a stable date-indexing algorithm, ensuring a fresh, unique transmission each calendar day. On the details page, the console is fully interactive: tapping any past cell in the streak grid instantly updates the card to display the date, completion status, and specific quote generated for that historical day.
