Coral Compass is a calm offline guide to marine species and ocean conservation for divers, wildlife observers, and anyone curious about life beneath the surface.
Explore a fixed collection of marine species with concise reference information designed to make each entry easy to understand and revisit.
Every species profile includes useful facts, observer cautions, local forms, and the typical adult size, giving you a compact overview before your next exploration.
The catalog is arranged into shelves based on diving depth. Two rows of filter chips let you narrow the collection further by depth level and observation season.
Save species that catch your attention and return to them from a dedicated saved row without searching through the complete catalog again.
The home screen brings together several ways to continue exploring. Browse a stack of useful tips, discover recently added catalog entries, check the current seasonal selection, or use the catalog coverage ring to follow your progress.
Coral Compass also includes a personal observation journal. Choose a species, give it a rating from 1 to 5, and add a short note about your observation.
After saving an entry, a summary displays your rating and gives you the option to immediately record another species. Your latest journal entry remains easy to find whenever you return.
A separate ratings summary on the home screen brings your recorded impressions together and provides another view of your activity.
Saved species, opened reference entries, and journal records are stored locally on your device. No registration, account, or cloud service is required.
The catalog content is fixed and remains available without a network connection, making Coral Compass suitable for quiet browsing wherever you are.
Explore marine life, record your observations, learn more about ocean conservation, and gradually expand your knowledge of the world beneath the surface with Coral Compass
