Make your home and lock screens feel connected.

Homefade is a local-first wallpaper studio for Android. Choose one of your photos, a muted video loop, a saved folder, or a hand-picked rotation, then frame it and choose how it should appear.

Create your wallpaper
• Crop and position photos with Screen Fill, Fit Image, Stretch, and Rotate to Fit options.
• Keep a photo unchanged with No Style, or add an animated transition such as Clouds, Frost, Halftone, Spill, Pixels, Poster, or Prism.
• Import a local MP4 or WebM as a muted, looping motion wallpaper.
• Preview your image and effect before opening Android’s wallpaper confirmation.

Build changing rotations
• Select multiple images or connect up to four folders through Android’s system folder picker.
• Rotate when the screen turns off or on an approximate hourly or daily schedule.
• Shuffle, pause, resume, move forward, or go back from Homefade, its widget, or optional Quick Settings tiles.
• Homefade keeps the current wallpaper in place if a folder becomes unavailable.

Designed for your device
• Adaptive layouts for phones, foldables, tablets, landscape, and multi-window use.
• Live and video wallpapers refit from the retained source when the wallpaper surface changes.
• Static wallpapers can be applied again after folding or unfolding on devices that keep separate cover and inner wallpapers.
• Supports Android accessibility text scaling, screen readers, keyboard navigation, and large touch targets.

Private by design
Your local photos and videos stay on your device. Homefade uses Android’s Storage Access Framework and only receives access to files or folders you choose. No account is required. Browse loads online wallpaper artwork. Wallhaven search is contacted when you open it; attribution and source links are shown for downloaded artwork.

Android remains in control of final wallpaper activation and the available Home, Lock, or both-screen choices.

Free with optional ad-free access
All wallpaper features are free. Banner ads appear in Browse and Saved. A one-time Remove Ads purchase disables advertising, and Restore purchases recovers existing ad-free access through Google Play. Advertising consent choices are available in Settings where required.
