Good used cars on Facebook Marketplace go fast, and whoever messages first usually gets them. CarSnipe watches Marketplace for you and buzzes your phone when a car you want is listed.

HOW IT WORKS
Tell CarSnipe what you're after: make, model, the most you'd pay, the oldest year, the most miles and how far you'll drive. Your phone checks Marketplace every few minutes, day and night, and sends you an alert for each new car that matches. Each alert says how fast it got to you, like "Caught within 4 min of showing up on Facebook".

KNOW IF THE PRICE IS FAIR
On Pro, each car is compared with similar ones for sale near you, so you can tell whether $8,900 is a good price before you message. If a listing shows a down payment instead of the full price, CarSnipe says so instead of calling it a deal.

ALSO
• Save the cars you like. If a saved car drops its price or sells, you'll know.
• Cars that were listed before your first check go in their own list, so a new search doesn't bury you in old ones.
• On Pro, watch up to 4 more towns besides home.
• "Is it working?" shows when your phone last checked, and what to fix if something's off.
• Ask the help chat about your searches. A person takes over when it can't help.

YOUR FACEBOOK LOGIN STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
CarSnipe searches Marketplace the way you would, with your own Facebook login on your own phone. You type your password on Facebook's own page, and we never see it. We don't read your messages and we never post or message anyone. You can log out any time.

PLANS
Basic watches up to 2 searches. Pro watches as many as you like, checks more often and shows what each car is worth. Both start with a free week, and if you cancel in the app before it ends, you pay nothing.

You'll need an Android phone that stays on and online (a spare phone works well) and a Facebook account.
