Honeycomb is a recipe app for people who actually cook, but you don't need a MICHELIN Star to use it.

It's warm, considered, and built around the moment that matters most — when you're at the stove with three things going at once and need to know what's next.

Most recipe apps stop being useful the second you start cooking. Honeycomb's cook mode is the opposite: a clean, full-screen view of one step at a time, with a persistent timer tray that runs every timer in your recipe at the same time. Pasta boiling, sauce reducing, garlic toasting — all visible, all ticking, never lost.

Timers keep running when the app is backgrounded. You'll see a live countdown in your notification shade — no need to unlock the phone with floury hands.

Add a recipe to your cook list and Honeycomb pulls every ingredient into a categorised shopping list, automatically merging duplicates across recipes. Cooking two things that both need parmesan? You'll see one line, with the right total. Tap any ingredient to see which recipe it's for and swap in alternatives.

Tell Honeycomb what you want — "something with the chicken thighs in the fridge, 30 minutes, my partner doesn't like coriander" — and it'll write you a complete recipe, with proper steps, timers built into the right moments, and ingredients linked to a shared catalog so the shopping list still works. Or paste a recipe from anywhere and Honeycomb will reformat it into the same clean structure.

You can also start from a guided wizard: pick the occasion, mood, cuisine, dietary needs, time you have, and rough ingredients, and Honeycomb generates something for you.

Create a Home, invite your household with a 6-character code, and share a single cook list and recipe library. Everyone sees what's planned for the week. Recipes you've created stay private unless you choose to share them with your Home.
