Katalaveno helps you actually remember the words you want to learn.

You add a word, and the app uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate natural example sentences. It then schedules gentle local notifications that
resurface those sentences over time — spaced repetition — so the vocabulary sticks through real exposure instead of cramming.

FEATURES
• Sentence Bank — study curated sentences with cached translations and text-to-speech. Pick any combination of topics, auto-advance,
shuffle, and a background "auto mode" that keeps playing with the screen locked — great for listening on the go.
• Add words in your known or target language; AI writes simple and conjugated example sentences.
• Spaced-repetition notifications drip a few sentences at a time over days.
• Prediction game — guess the target-language sentence; the AI scores you on meaning, not exact wording.
• Books — browse free public-domain books from Project Gutenberg, or import your own EPUB/TXT files, and read or listen with
sentence-by-sentence translation and audio.
• An "Active words" set automatically gathers the words Jump to bottom (ctrl+End) ↓ for extra review.

BRING YOUR OWN AI KEY
Katalaveno uses Google Gemini for sentence generation, translation and scoring. You provide your own free Gemini API key (no credit card
needed) — get one from Google AI Studio and paste it into Settings. No subscription, and no server of ours in between.

PRIVACY
No accounts. No ads. No analytics or tracking. Your settings, words and progress stay on your device. The text you translate or generate is
sent only to Google's services (using your key), and books you import from your device are never uploaded.

LANGUAGES
Works with any language pair Gemini understands — set your known and target languages in Settings.

DISCLAIMER
This is a personal software experiment, in alpha. It is not medical advice, cognitive training, therapy, or a proven method for treating any
condition; references to memory or learning describe the project's design goals, not scientifically validated claims. Provided as-is, with
no warranty — use at your own discretion. AI translations and generated text may contain mistakes; treat them as learning aids, not
authoritative instruction.

Requires a Google Gemini API key and an internet connection for AI features (cached content works offline).
