Flare is a dating app built for Nigeria. Flare is for adults aged 18 and over.

Every profile on Flare is identity-verified before it can be seen. Only verified members can browse, and only verified members are shown. Verification uses a Nigerian NIN or driver's licence.

There are no read receipts. That is enforced in our database, not merely absent from the screens.

Flare is free to start. Flare Basic, an optional monthly membership, adds three things: no daily like limit, undoing a pass as often as you like, and seeing who liked you. No subscription is required to use Flare: once your identity is verified, a free account can browse, like, match and chat.
