The fastest way to pull professional color palettes from museum-quality art. Browse the Art Institute of Chicago's complete collection, tap to extract a 5-color palette, tap any swatch to copy its hex code. No random palettes. No AI generation. Just proven color harmonies from masterpieces.

Designers spend too long hunting for palettes that don't look like every other project. Pigment solves that by going straight to the source — over 130,000 artworks from the Art Institute of Chicago, each one a ready-made color study refined by an actual artist. Monet, ancient Greek pottery, Edo prints, modernist paintings. Pull any of them into HEX, RGB, or HSL in seconds, with WCAG contrast ratings already attached. Or skip the museum entirely: snap a photo of anything — a sunset, a wall, your morning coffee — and pull a palette straight from the world around you.

Browse by color, not keywords.

Pick a hue family and browse every artwork that contains it. No search terms, no guessing. Just find the deep crimson or dusty sage you're imagining — or stumble onto something better.
