A quiet moment of observation, translated into reflection.

Health Mirror combines traditional tongue observation with image analysis to create personal wellness reflections inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

In TCM, the tongue has long been observed as a reflection of the body's overall state. Characteristics such as color, coating, shape, moisture, and texture are traditionally considered together to recognize broader patterns of balance and imbalance.

Health Mirror adapts this tradition using contemporary computer vision. Capture a tongue image and Health Mirror observes visual characteristics, including tongue color, coating, surface texture, moisture, shape, and contour. These observations are considered together and translated into an educational wellness reflection.

Reflect over time

A single observation is a moment. Health Mirror lets you save your reflections and revisit your journey over time, supporting greater awareness of patterns and changes in your personal wellness.

Privacy-first by design

Your image is prepared on your device. Only the processed information needed for model inference is sent to Health Mirror's remote inference service. The returned prediction data is interpreted locally on your device to generate your wellness reflection.

Saved reflections and profile information are stored locally in encrypted form, and Health Mirror gives you controls to remove your locally stored information from within the app.

Health Mirror does not use your wellness information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Traditional concepts, thoughtfully presented

When Health Mirror refers to concepts such as Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung, or Kidney, these refer to Traditional Chinese Medicine organ systems and functional relationships—not medical findings about the corresponding anatomical organs.

Designed for awareness, not diagnosis

Health Mirror is an educational wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.

Reflections are intended to support personal wellness awareness and education. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your health, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
