Kitchen Squirrel is the kitchen companion for households who cook. Save any recipe in a tap, plan the week with the people you live with, and take one shopping list to the shop — the one that actually matches what you're cooking.

SAVE RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE
Share a link from your browser, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube and Kitchen Squirrel reads the recipe for you. Photograph a cookbook page or paste text from a note. You check it before it's saved, every time. Bringing recipes from Paprika, Mela or Crouton? Import the export file and they come across in one go.

BROWSE DISCOVER
Not sure what to cook? Discover shows the recipes other kitchens save and cook most. Filter by what's in season, thirty-minute meals, vegetarian and more, and add any of them with a single tap.

PLAN THE WEEK, TOGETHER
Drop recipes onto days, drag them around, mark a night as takeaway, eating out or leftovers. Everyone in the household sees the same plan and can change it. Found something you fancy but haven't picked a day? Squirrel it away and it waits on the planner until someone does. Save a good week and reuse it whenever you like.

ONE HONEST SHOPPING LIST
The list is built from the plan: quantities added up across recipes, scaled to how many you're feeding, grouped by aisles that learn the order you walk the shop. Milk, bread and the things you always buy are added for you. Tick things off in the aisle, even with no signal, and see when you last bought them.

COOK WITHOUT SCROLLING
Cook mode takes you through one step at a time with timers that ring from the notification bar. Rate the dish afterwards, and next time it tells you what you thought.

WASTE LESS
Stash leftovers in the fridge or freezer and plan them onto a night. See which recipes you could cook right now from what you already have, ranked by fewest missing ingredients.

MADE FOR HOUSEHOLDS
One kitchen, everyone in it. Invite the family by email or with a link. Everyone gets their own favourites and ratings; the recipes, the plan and the list are shared. Plus kitchen squirrel keeps track of who does all the cooking!

THE SMALL THINGS
A home-screen widget with tonight's dinner. Dark mode. Works offline when you're walking the grocery store aisles.
