miniDesk is AI customer support that answers customers on its own and hands over to you when it has to. This app lets you work the inbox from your phone and notifies you when the AI needs help.

Sign in with your existing miniDesk account. The app works with email and password, Google, and GitHub. No account yet? Ask your workspace admin for an invite. Accounts are created on the web at minidesk.ai.

WORK THE INBOX

Filter conversations by status: Ongoing, Awaiting customer reply, Resolved, or Closed. Search across all conversations or show only those assigned to you. Read a conversation, reply, write an internal note, or assign it to a teammate. The AI writes a draft for you when it can. Send it, edit it, or dismiss it and write your own.

Swipe right on any conversation to resolve it, with undo. Everything updates immediately and syncs with the web dashboard.

LOOK UP CUSTOMERS

Search for a customer, open their page, and see all their conversations. Edit the shared team note that everyone on your team can see. Start a new conversation by email right from the app.

GET NOTIFIED WHEN IT COUNTS

The AI answers most customers on its own. You hear from the app only when the AI cannot answer, when a customer replies on a conversation assigned to you, or when someone assigns one to you. Turn each kind of notification on or off in settings.

The AI stays quiet when it answers by itself, so your phone only buzzes when a customer genuinely needs you.

DESIGNED FOR SPEED

The inbox opens to your last loaded view immediately, then refreshes. Lists scroll smoothly with hundreds of rows. Actions like resolve, assign, and send update the screen at once and roll back if the server refuses. The app works offline in read-only mode, showing the last loaded data with a banner until you are back online.

WORKS ON PHONES AND TABLETS

The same design on every device. On phones, a clean stack with a floating tab bar. On tablets, a three-column layout with an icon rail, a list, and the conversation or customer detail. Supports dark mode and follows your phone setting, with a switch in settings to override it.

WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO

This app is for working the inbox and looking up customers. It does not handle settings, team management, analytics, knowledge base editing, or API keys. Those stay on the web dashboard.

The app never creates accounts or workspaces. It signs in to existing accounts only. Forgot your password? The reset email arrives from the app, and you choose a new password on the web page it links to.
