Record your campsites. Log your tracks. Download maps before you leave. Meridian keeps everything on your device and works where your phone signal doesn't.

Built for people who camp off the beaten track in Australia, Meridian is an offline-first mapping app that puts you in control of your own location data. Record the places you discover, keep them private or share them selectively, and access everything without mobile reception.

Free accounts can record up to 10 campsites with full offline access.

CAMPSITE RECORDING
Add campsites anywhere on the map with photos, access difficulty, amenities, capacity, and notes. Everything saves locally first and stays accessible without reception. Your campsites stay private unless you choose to share them.

TRACK RECORDING
Record 4WD and travel tracks with distance, elevation, and difficulty data. Mark hazards along the way. Share tracks with others or keep them to yourself.

TRACK GRADING
Tap any track on the map to rate its difficulty and log the minimum vehicle requirement. See how others have graded it before you go. Ratings build over time to give a clearer picture of what to expect.

SMART MAP CACHING
Nearby map data is cached automatically in the background so the map keeps working when reception drops. Your campsites and tracks are always stored locally on your device.

RAIN RADAR
Live rain radar overlay directly on the map.

MOBILE COVERAGE MAPS
See Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone coverage areas on the map before you leave so you know what to expect.

SHARING ON YOUR TERMS
Follow other users and view campsites and tracks they choose to share. Control which of yours remain private, visible to friends, or open to followers. No public database. You decide.

MERIDIAN PLUS
Upgrade for access to detailed topographic maps across Australia, NSW, QLD, and New Zealand. Download full map regions for offline use in any available style. View 7-day weather forecasts for campsite and track locations. Expanded campsite limit of up to 500 locations.

Meridian is a practical tool for people who travel beyond reliable reception. It does not replace local regulations or on-ground judgement. Always check local rules and conditions before you go.
