Know you’re ready before you move the truck.

HitchReady is the purpose-built checklist app for RV travelers — fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, and Class A, B, and C motorhomes. Unlike generic checklist apps, HitchReady knows what kind of rig you have and filters every list to show only what applies to you.

—— THE PROBLEM ——

Driving away with the TV antenna up. Pulling the shore power cord under the wheels. Leaving the sewer hose connected. Moving with the steps out. These aren’t beginner mistakes — they happen to experienced RVers under stress. And they cost hundreds to thousands of dollars to fix.

Generic checklist apps don’t know what a slideout is. They don’t know you have a gooseneck hitch, a residential fridge, or X-chocks between your tires. HitchReady does.

—— HOW IT WORKS ——

Tell HitchReady about your rig in a quick 90-second setup — rig type, hitch, slideout count, leveling system, fridge type, and equipment. It removes every item that doesn’t apply to you. A Class B van never sees a slideout step. A fifth wheel never sees weight distribution hitch items. Your checklist is built for your rig.
—— THREE CORE CHECKLISTS ——

✓ Pre-Departure — Everything before you move the truck. Inside, awning, slideouts, hookups, exterior, hitch connection, and final cab check. In the right order, every time.

✓ Arrival Setup — From pulling in to fully set up. Site assessment, unhitch sequence, leveling, slideouts, hookups, and getting settled. Nothing skipped.

✓ In-Transit Check — Run this at your first pull-off, 15 minutes after departing. Catches problems before they become emergencies.

—— KEY FEATURES ——

● Rig-aware filtering — 13 setup selections filter your checklists automatically. Only see what applies to your rig and hookup situation.

● Can’t-Leave Gate — Before completing your pre-departure list, HitchReady shows every critical item and requires deliberate confirmation. You can’t accidentally drive away.

● Offline-first — Works completely without internet. Your data lives on your device. No account required.

● Dependent steps — Safety-critical items are locked until their prerequisite is checked. Connect the hitch before the 7-pin. Close tank valves before disconnecting the sewer hose.

● Departure reminders — Set your next travel date and get a custom reminder hours or days before it’s time to pack up.

● Completion history — Every list run is logged with a timestamp and result. Know when you last completed each checklist and track your streak.

● Custom items — Add your own checklist items for your specific setup. Long-press any item to view details, hide it, or delete custom items.

● YouTube Shorts integration — Tap the How button on any item to watch a short video showing exactly how to do it. Perfect for new RVers learning the ropes.

—— WHO IT’S FOR ——

New RVers: Pre-built lists with plain-English descriptions for every item. Never wonder why a step matters — hold any item for a full explanation.

Weekend warriors: Even if you only go out once a month, the checklist keeps your muscle memory sharp. No more “I think I got everything.”

Full-timers: Speed and efficiency. Customizable lists, hookup situation toggles you can flip per site, and a history log that confirms you ran the list.

—— BUILT BY FULL-TIME RVers ——

HitchReady was built by Ben and Anna of Noteworthy Nomads — a couple who have been living full-time in their Brinkley fifth wheel, covering 27+ states and two Canadian provinces. Every item in every checklist came from real experience on the road. We built the app we couldn’t find.
