Streamline your geodetic workflows, eliminate manual coordinate transcription, and catch observation errors instantly while on-site. TotalStation serves as a professional field companion and data logger for surveyors and topographers, providing real-time traverse analysis, automated data validation, and seamless CAD/GIS export integration.

Core Surveying Features & Field Mechanics:
Direct Instrument Integration: Connect your mobile device directly to your total station instrument via Bluetooth or RS-232 to receive polar observations instantly in the field.

Real-Time Field Plots: Render comprehensive field plots and layout schematics directly on your phone, removing the need to return to the office to visualize survey networks.

Traverse-Closure & Error Checking: Mitigate observation blunders on the spot. The built-in error-checking framework tracks raw parameters—such as target angular tolerances (e.g., 30.0") and linear tolerances (e.g., 0.02)—instantly flagging any calculation that exceeds project rules so you can remeasure before packing up the station setup.

Multi-Format Data Export: Export verified coordinate registries instantly into standardized industry formats:

DXF for direct mapping layout inside AutoCAD Civil 3D.

CSV for clean tabular point management.

LandXML for advanced 3D surface and infrastructure modeling in QGIS or civil engineering platforms.

Project Management & Preferences:
Granular Project Initialization: Set up new site surveys efficiently by defining customized core metadata sheets:

Project Details: Log the custom Project Name, specific Site / Location description, and detailed Crew Notes.

Point Customization: Pre-define an automated alphanumeric Point Prefix (e.g., PT) to organize successive points cleanly.

Calibrated Measurement Preferences: Adjust unit parameters to match your region's geodetic requirements:

Distance Units: Toggle calculations instantly between meters and feet.

Angle Formats: Choose your angular logging standard across DMS (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds), decimal_degrees, or gons.

Coordinate Precision: Scale mathematical depth by selecting your exact decimal workspace precision from 1 to 5 places.

Centralized Field Dashboard: Track project status parameters using real-time counters displaying total Projects, collected Points, occupied Stations, and total Flagged errors.

Field Behavior & Customization Tools:
Plot Customization: Tailor graphical visibility for high-glare environments by modifying your preferred workspace Label Size and adjusting data Plot Line Thickness.

Automated Field Behaviors: Optimize field routines with helpful configuration toggles inside the settings panel:

Auto-open plot on connect: Instantly shifts into mapping view once data streams initialize.

Sound on new observation: Delivers audio feedback confirmation for successfully recorded points.

Warn before closing setup: Adds a data validation safety barrier to prevent accidental session exits.

Survey Defaults & History Maintenance: Establish universal tolerance rules, secure local data via clean privacy controls, and reset or wipe your local export history data blocks with a single tap.
