Qevio is a private messenger for chatting with and calling the people who matter, wherever they are. Messages and calls go over the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) between people who use Qevio.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files, shared locations, calls and stories are end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the people you talk to can read, see or hear them. Not Qevio, not anyone in between.
• Qevio can read only your phone number, your account name and your profile photo (so our safety team can remove illegal or sexual pictures), plus the connection details any service needs, such as times and who you message or call. Never what you say or share.
• Your chats are kept on your phone. Photos and files pass through our servers only in encrypted form and are deleted once delivered (at the latest after 7 days).
• Compare a contact's security code, or scan their QR code, to check that nobody is in between.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

HD CALLS
• HD voice calls and video calls up to Full HD 1080p.
• One-to-one or group calls with up to 8 people. Add people to a call while it is running.
• Calls connect the moment you answer. Switching a voice call to video asks the other person first.
• Share your screen during a call.

FAST, EXPRESSIVE CHATS
• Clear ticks for sent, delivered and read.
• Photos and videos in HD or Full HD, documents, contacts, polls and events.
• View once: photos that close after 2, 5 or 10 seconds or when closed, and videos that play once. Screenshots are blocked.
• Voice messages in one touch: tap the mic to record hands-free, or hold it and let go to send.
• Replies, reactions, edits, delete for everyone and disappearing messages.
• Groups of up to 256 people.
• Link previews made on your phone: the people you send a link to never contact the website.
• Make your own stickers from your photos, and import all your saved WhatsApp stickers in one tap.
• Search GIFs right in the chat, powered by KLIPY. It stays off until you switch it on.

WATCH TOGETHER
• Watch the videos you share together, in sync, while you chat or call. React and talk while you watch.

LOCATION
• Send a place, your current location or a saved place.
• Share your live location with one chat for 15 minutes up to 8 hours, and stop it any time.

IN THE CAR
• With Android Auto, hear your Qevio messages read aloud and answer them by voice, hands on the wheel.

STORIES
• Share photos, videos or text for 24 or 48 hours with all your contacts, all except some, or only the people you pick.
• See who viewed your story as it happens (like read receipts, this works both ways) and reply privately to your friends' stories.

MADE FOR THE WHOLE WORLD
• Sign up with your phone number. Your code comes by WhatsApp or SMS and fills itself in.
• See your contacts' local time and country, so you know when it is a good moment to call. You decide who sees yours.
• See which of your contacts are already on Qevio, and invite the others.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Light or dark mode that follows your phone, and three colour themes.
• Chat backgrounds: 12 Qevio designs, plain colours or your own photo, for all chats or just one.

YOUR CHOICES
• Decide who sees your last seen, local time, profile photo, about line and stories.
• Read receipts, silence unknown callers, blocked contacts.
• App lock with your fingerprint, face or screen lock, and screen security.
• Save the photos and videos you choose to your phone's gallery.
• Back up your chats to your own Google Drive, encrypted with a password or key only you have.
• Follow the Qevio channel for news and tips.

Qevio is free. Messages and calls use your internet connection, so mobile data charges may apply. Calls to ordinary phone numbers are not supported.
