Someone you love says: "Feels like we haven't actually talked in days. Are we good?"

What you say next matters. Lytta is a place to practice saying it — before it counts.

HOW IT WORKS

An AI partner opens a realistic everyday moment: a rough day at work, a small sigh over dinner, a disappointment that actually stings. You reply as yourself, in your own words. Lytta grades every reply on real, research-based listening skills — did you acknowledge the feeling, did you turn toward the bid, did you jump to fixing before the feeling was heard? — and shows you a stronger version of what you could have said.

The partner reacts believably: warm replies soften the mood, dismissive ones escalate it. You can watch the temperature move with every message.

PRACTICE MODES

• Warm up — gentle, positive moments to build the habit
• Everyday feelings — small sighs and buried bids for attention
• Disappointment — when it actually stings
• Cool Down challenge — they start furious; bring them back to calm
• Your own scenario — bring a real moment from your life and rehearse the reply

WHAT YOU GET

• A score and specific feedback on every reply — what worked, what to work on
• Named skills: validation, turning toward, open questions, repair attempts
• Trap flags when you fix, defend, or dismiss instead of listening
• A better version of each reply, so you feel the difference
• Skill stats and a communication profile that grows with your practice
• Streaks and levels, because reps are how skills stick

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Practice anonymously — no account needed to start
• No ads, no tracking SDKs, no selling of data
• Your practice content is never used to train AI models
• Delete everything at any time, in the app

NOT THERAPY

Lytta is a skills gym, not therapy, counselling, or crisis support. If a session touches something heavy, Lytta stops grading and points to real resources instead.

The skills you practice — noticing bids, validating feelings before solving problems, de-escalating without surrendering your point — are drawn from established relationship communication research. The reps are yours.

Two minutes a day. Real moments. Better conversations.
