Ponderwell — The Private Therapy Journal & Mood Companion

Designed by a psychologist, Ponderwell helps you track your mood, journal with guided prompts, prepare for sessions, and watch your progress over time. It works just as well alongside coaching, support groups, workshops, retreats — or your own daily reflection practice.

Everything stays on your device. No cloud. No account. No AI. No ads. No tracking.

MADE FOR LIFE BETWEEN THERAPY SESSIONS

• Mood check-ins — A fast, science-based mood tracker built on the Circumplex Model of emotion: feeling, intensity, and body sensations. Patterns emerge over weeks of therapy.

• Gather & Reflect — Guided journaling prompts before and after each therapy or coaching session, so you arrive prepared and leave with clarity.

• Prep Sheet — A one-tap summary of everything since your last session: mood check-ins, journal entries, homework, and open agenda items. Review it before you walk in, or share it with your therapist as a PDF.

• Private journal — Free-form writing with optional photos and voice notes, plus journal prompts when you want a starting point.

• Unsent letters — Write what you're not yet ready to say out loud.

• Goals & homework — Track therapy homework and the goals you're working on between sessions.

• Session agenda — Capture topics as they come up during the week so nothing important gets forgotten.

• Meditations — Short guided modes for grounding, breath work, and present-moment awareness.

• Daily contemplations — A new quote each day to pause with, or share with friends and family.

• Insights & reports — Mood patterns, before/after session comparisons, and emotion frequency. Export any report as a PDF to bring to therapy if you'd like.

PRIVACY FIRST

A therapy journal holds your most personal thoughts, so Ponderwell keeps everything on your device. No servers, no cloud storage, no accounts, no logins. The only data that ever leaves your phone is anonymous crash reporting (device model, OS version, error traces — never your personal content).
