ZIVIC

Zivic is an ad-free, nonpartisan civic engagement app that helps people understand what is happening in government and build better civic habits in just a few minutes a day.

With Zivic, users can read plain-language civic updates, learn how government works, test their knowledge with quick quizzes, and stay connected to public issues that may affect their community, state, and country.

Zivic is designed to make civic life easier to understand, less overwhelming, and more approachable for everyday users.

Zivic helps users:

Learn civic terms, facts, and concepts
Read plain-language summaries of civic and government-related news
Take quick quizzes to reinforce what they learned
Build civic habits with streaks, badges, progress, and points
Find helpful context about representatives, legislation, public issues, and civic participation
Review original sources for government-derived information and aggregated news content

Zivic is built for people who want to be more informed and engaged but do not want to spend hours searching across news sites, government websites, legislative pages, and civic resources. The app brings civic learning, government updates, and habit-building features together in one simple experience.

Zivic is not designed to tell users what to think, who to support, or how to vote. Its goal is to help users better understand civic systems, follow public issues, and participate more confidently in democratic life.

Zivic uses artificial intelligence to help summarize, organize, and explain civic and government-related information in plain language. Government-derived information includes access to the applicable original source so users can review and verify the information directly. News summaries include source information and links to the original news articles or other source materials used.

Users should verify time-sensitive official information, including election dates, voting requirements, legislative status, public meeting details, and government deadlines, directly with the applicable government agency, election authority, legislative body, or official government website.
