Count the people in a photo in about a second — no tapping, no tally, no guessing.

Crowd Counting is an AI people counter. Take a photo of a crowd or pick one from your gallery, and the app finds every head and gives you a number. A tally counter makes you press a button for each person; this counts the whole frame at once.

Counting runs on your phone. Your photos are never uploaded, there is no account to create, and it works with no signal at all.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Count a crowd from one photo — hundreds of people, one tap
• Use your camera or any picture already in your gallery
• See exactly who was counted, with a marker on every head
• Switch to a density view to see where the crowd is thickest
• Check the confidence colour on each detection before you trust the number
• Save every count to your history with its photo, so you can compare later
• Export the detection points to CSV for a spreadsheet or report
• Share or save the marked-up image straight from the result screen
• Read the built-in shooting guide for getting an accurate count

WHO IT IS FOR

Event organisers and venue staff checking attendance and capacity.
Teachers taking a fast headcount of a class or a school trip.
Security, stewards and marshals estimating a crowd size.
Places of worship, community halls and clubs recording congregation numbers.
Protest and rally organisers documenting turnout.
Retail and hospitality teams measuring queues and footfall.
Photographers, journalists and researchers who need a defensible number.
Wedding and party planners doing a headcount of guests.
Anyone who has ever tried to count a crowd by pointing at heads.

WHY A PHOTO BEATS A TALLY COUNTER

A manual click counter needs you to see each person once and only once. That falls apart the moment the crowd is bigger than a room, people move, or you lose your place. A photo freezes the crowd, and the count is repeatable — the same picture gives the same number, and the marked-up image shows your working.

ACCURACY, HONESTLY

This is an estimate, not a turnstile. Crowd counting models are very good at heads they can see and cannot count heads that are hidden behind other people. The app shows you a confidence indicator and marks every detection so you can judge the result yourself instead of taking a number on faith.

You will get the best count from a photo taken above head height, with the crowd filling the frame and faces reasonably visible. The in-app guide covers this in four short steps.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Counting happens on your device, using an on-device model
• No photo ever leaves your phone
• No sign-in, no account, no cloud
• Counting works completely offline, including on aeroplane mode
• Your saved counts stay on your phone and go away when you uninstall

The app is free and supported by ads, which are served by Google. Ads use your
device's advertising ID; you can review or change that in the app's About
screen at any time. Your photos are never part of it.

NO CLUTTER

A clean three-tab app: count, history, about. No feed, no social layer, no notifications nagging you. Open it, count, get on with your day.

Crowd Counting is free. If you find it useful, a rating genuinely helps — and if a count looks wrong, tell us what the photo looked like and we will use it.
