Reel Counter shows you exactly how many Reels and Shorts you scroll, live, right on top of Instagram and YouTube.

Ever open Instagram "just for a minute" and look up an hour later? Reel Counter puts a small counter on screen while you scroll, so you always know where you are. Set your own limits, and if you blow past them, the clowns take over.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Live counter on top of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Drag it anywhere, tap it to shrink it
• Today at a glance: reels scrolled, time watched, time per reel and this session
• Daily limit with a progress ring, a reminder when you hit it, and streaks for days you stay under it
• Session reminder: a nudge and a red flash when one sitting goes too long
• Clown flood 🤡: past your reminder, clowns double with every reel until they bury the screen. Then the app closes and Reels take a 10-minute break (you can switch this off)
• 7-day chart, this week vs last week, and "at this pace" monthly totals
• Full history with your lightest and heaviest days
• Pause anytime: for 1 hour, until tomorrow, or until you turn it back on

100% PRIVATE
Reel Counter has no internet access. Everything stays on your phone: no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

HOW IT WORKS
Reel Counter uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect when you scroll to the next Reel or Short, to show the live counter on top of those apps, and (only when Clown flood is on) to send you back to the home screen when you've scrolled far past your reminder. It does not read, collect or store what you watch, your messages or any personal data.

It isn't about guilt. It's about awareness. Sometimes just seeing the number is enough to put the phone down.
