Symos is a digital agribusiness management and traceability platform for cooperatives, processors, exporters, and agribusinesses managing agricultural value chains. It supports the full supply chain, from farmer registration and GPS farm boundary mapping through coffee purchasing, inventory management, processing, traceability, and EUDR compliance documentation.

The platform integrates with farmer registration and traceability systems, enabling field agents, buying clerks, and cooperative staff to verify farmer eligibility and compliance before recording purchases. Every transaction is linked to farmer and farm records, helping organizations maintain accurate traceability data from farm to export.

What You Can Do with Symos
• Register farmers and capture GPS farm boundary polygons in the field, with offline capability for remote areas.
• Run compliance checks at the point of purchase and receive instant results: Compliant, Non-Compliant, or Invalid ID.
• Record coffee and agricultural produce purchases in real time, including weight, grade, price, and farmer details linked to the farm of origin.
• Manage cooperative inventory, track purchases, create batches, and monitor stock across collection centres.
• Transfer batches between supply chain actors using SYM-Codes, a simple identifier system for traceability and inventory transfers.
• Generate Due Diligence Statements (DDS) with traceability records from farm plot to export lot.
• Distribute agricultural inputs to farmers and maintain distribution records.
• Deliver field training sessions and record participation and outcomes.
• Conduct impact surveys and capture field data with offline-first functionality and automatic sync when connectivity is available.

Built for EUDR Compliance
The European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires exporters to demonstrate that regulated commodities originate from compliant farms. Symos helps organizations maintain coffee traceability and supply chain visibility by linking purchases to verified farmer and farm data, recording inventory movements, and supporting due diligence documentation. Compliance status can be monitored throughout the supply chain, from first-mile purchase to export preparation.

Who Uses Symos
• Cooperative Hub Admins and Hub Managers overseeing buying clerks, inventory, and batch transfers.
• Field Enumerators and Registration Agents capturing farmer information and GPS farm boundaries.
• Cooperative Buying Clerks recording coffee purchases and agricultural produce transactions at buying stations and farm gates.
• Processors and Exporters managing lot consolidation and preparing due diligence documentation.
• Agribusinesses managing farmer networks across multiple value chains.

Offline-First for the Field
Farmer registration, GPS mapping, and field data collection work without internet connectivity. Compliance checks and data synchronization require an internet connection. Records are stored locally and synchronized when connectivity becomes available.

Value Chain Agnostic
Symos is designed to support multiple agricultural value chains and traceability programmes. While coffee is currently the primary deployment sector, the platform can be configured for cocoa, dairy, aquaculture, poultry, oilseeds, and other agricultural supply chains that require farmer registration, traceability, inventory management, compliance monitoring, and supply chain visibility.

Developed for Real-World Operations
Whether you are managing coffee traceability, cooperative purchasing, farmer networks, inventory, or export compliance, Symos provides the tools needed to digitize operations from farm to market while maintaining accurate and auditable records.
