Everything you trust about your spreadsheet, without maintaining the formulas.

Drachma is for people who already track their money deliberately (usually in a spreadsheet) and want the same control without the upkeep. It plans what’s coming, keeps track of money owed, and checks your records against what you actually hold.

DOES YOUR LEDGER BALANCE?
Most expense trackers tell you what you spent. Drachma also tells you whether the record is complete. The Balance Check compares what your finances should add up to against what you really hold: every account at once, plus money people owe you and refunds you’re waiting on. When the gap is zero, your records line up with what you actually hold.

MONEY OWED, IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
Split a bill, cover a friend, or wait on a deposit. The Balances section tracks what you’re owed and what you owe, including partial payments, in the same book as your budget, so lending £40 doesn’t look like spending £40.

PLAN WHAT HASN’T HAPPENED YET
Recurring payments and instalment plans appear in your month before they’re paid, so next month is never a surprise. Scheduled entries count toward your budget without pretending the money has already gone.

BUDGETS THAT FIT REAL LIFE
Set monthly targets for regular spending and whole-period targets for irregular things: holidays, repairs and annual renewals. Custom budgeting periods mean your financial year can start in April, September or whenever yours actually does. Prefer 50/30/20? The built-in planner shows how your categories divide between Needs, Wants and Savings.

SEE HOW YOUR PLAN IS GOING
Explore spending by category with interactive charts, compare it with your assigned budgets, and see how much you have left to spend each month for the rest of your budgeting period. A guided setup helps you get started.

YOUR BANK STAYS OUT OF IT
No bank connection or credentials, ever. Import a statement instead: PDF and CSV files are parsed on your device, and only the transactions you select are saved.
