Every scroll leaves a mark.

Rafiq is a private, on-device guardian for Muslims who want their gaze lowered and their time back. It blocks almost every adult content including Porn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, any website you choose and any app you overuse — then replaces that moment with a calm, sacred pause instead of a red error screen.

No shame. No lectures. No one watching but you.

WHAT RAFIQ BLOCKS

🛡️ Adult content (including Porn), in every browser
Domain and keyword matching stops adult websites and searches in Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Brave — every browser on your phone. Matching runs 100% on-device.

🌀 YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
The endless feed becomes a pause. Detected inside the apps and in the browser, so opening the mobile site is not a way around it.

🔗 Your own blocked websites
Add any site you want kept out. One entry like example.com covers www, m., every subdomain and every page on it. Your list never leaves your phone.

⏳ Daily app time limits
Give any app a daily minute budget. When it is spent, the app closes until midnight. A decision you make once, honoured all day.

THE PAUSE IS THE POINT

Most blockers show you an error. Rafiq shows you a moment.

When a block fires, a full-screen pause opens: a reminder to fear Allah, a breath, an optional dhikr tap-counter, and a Qur'an verse or hadith in Arabic with translation and transliteration. A gentle timer holds the moment — then you are always free to continue. Rafiq is never a permanent lockout, because a false positive should never trap you.

Optional ambient sound. Warm earth tones. Light and dark. Built to feel like a prayer space, not an alarm.

YOUR PRIVACY IS NOT NEGOTIABLE

Rafiq reads your screen to protect you. It never keeps what it reads.

• No URL, search query, keyword or page content is ever stored, logged or uploaded — not to our servers, not to analytics, not even to your phone
• Blocklist matching is entirely on-device
• A block is recorded as a type and a timestamp. Nothing else. Ever
• No ads. No data selling. No accountability partner reading your history

STREAKS AND YOUR JOURNEY

Clean days counted. Dhikr counted. Time reclaimed, shown back to you. The only notification Rafiq sends is about your own progress.

FREE AND PREMIUM

Free — soft blocking. Every block still fires, and every block can be dismissed. Good for building the habit.

Premium — blocking that actually holds:
• PIN and cooldown enforcement, so a weak moment cannot switch protection off
• Hard daily app limits
• App Lock on Rafiq itself, with PIN and fingerprint
• Streaks and settings backed up across your devices

Monthly and annual plans, priced for your country. Cancel anytime through Google Play.

WHO RAFIQ IS FOR

This is self-imposed accountability, not parental control. It is for the person who already decided — who wants a companion (rafīq) standing at the moments willpower is thinnest.

"There are two blessings which many people lose: health and free time." — Sahih al-Bukhari 6412

PERMISSIONS, EXPLAINED PLAINLY

Accessibility Service — Rafiq uses the Accessibility API to read on-screen text and the URL bar so it can detect adult content, Shorts and Reels as they appear. This text is matched in memory and immediately discarded. It is never saved, never logged and never transmitted.

Display over other apps — to show the block screen above whatever you are in.

Usage access — to measure app time for daily limits.

Notifications — for your streak and to keep protection running.

Guard your gaze. Reclaim your time.
