Ziricote is your backing band, always ready for improvisation practice.

Learning to improvise shouldn't depend on other musicians being free, or on a teacher's schedule. With Ziricote you have a backing band on hand — bass, piano comping and drums — to practise with whenever you like, on your own repertoire, in any key and at any tempo. Offline too.

NOT A RECORDED TRACK, A BAND
Ziricote doesn't play back a fixed recording: it reads your chord chart and generates the accompaniment in over 100 styles — swing, bossa nova, funk, jazz waltz, blues, reggae and many more — in your key and at your tempo.

YOUR REPERTOIRE, REALLY YOURS
Start from a large shared catalogue of standards and make it your own: fix the chords, create your version, set the form of the tune. Or write your own charts from scratch, bar by bar. Organise everything into playlists and export to MusicXML whenever you want — an open format that MuseScore, Sibelius and Flat can read, so your arrangements are never locked inside an app.

BUILT FOR PRACTICE
• Transpose to any key with a tap
• Change the tempo without affecting pitch
• Loop the hardest section on its own
• Chord diagrams for guitar, bass and keyboard, with the right fingerings
• The chord being played is always highlighted, so you always know what to play
• Reference scales for improvising in the key of the tune
• Set the volume of each instrument (bass, piano, drums)
• Everything works offline: on stage or on the underground

A COMMUNITY OF MUSICIANS
The shared repertoire is the common ground everyone starts from: the community looks after it, corrects it and helps it grow. Discussion and feedback in the dedicated forum.
