PocketEQ is a trauma-informed emotional intelligence app designed to help you reflect, regulate, and grow through everyday experiences. Built on the REAL Framework—Reflect, Evaluate, Adjust, Lead—it transforms simple mood check-ins into meaningful insights that support both personal growth and professional well-being. Whether you’re managing stress at work, navigating relationships, or developing as a leader, PocketEQ helps you connect emotional awareness with action.

The app begins with intuitive mood logging, using emojis, energy levels, and context tags to capture how you feel in each moment. You can add a short journal entry, record a voice note, or choose a guided reflection to deepen self-awareness. Over time, PocketEQ identifies emotional patterns and provides gentle coaching suggestions—like preparing for stressful meetings, managing end-of-week fatigue, or building confidence in difficult conversations.

PocketEQ goes beyond traditional mood tracking by integrating AI insights, calendar reflection, and biofeedback. Users can sync their calendars to receive pre- and post-event prompts that encourage emotional check-ins and intentional preparation. Those using connected health devices can also receive stress-based reminders informed by heart rate and other biometric signals. This holistic approach combines emotional reflection with physical awareness, helping users build healthier habits and prevent burnout.

Designed with psychological safety in mind, PocketEQ offers a calm and validating experience rather than a gamified competition. Users are encouraged to engage at their own pace, earning progress badges based on meaningful engagement instead of daily pressure. The design and tone are warm, inclusive, and accessible for users from all backgrounds, including those who prefer alternative ways of processing emotion such as voice or visual entries.

The app’s insights and visual analytics allow users to see how moods shift across contexts—work, home, relationships, and personal growth. PocketEQ’s AI recommendations guide users toward strategies for reflection, boundary setting, and leadership grounded in empathy and equity.

PocketEQ also connects personal reflection to collective impact through its affiliate donation and events system. Each user can choose to donate a portion of their subscription to a mission-aligned organization, such as a nonprofit focused on healing, adoption, or social equity. This system allows emotional growth to translate into tangible community support, deepening the app’s commitment to equity and shared well-being.

At its core, PocketEQ helps people build sustainable emotional intelligence. It’s more than a wellness tracker—it’s a digital companion for understanding yourself, improving relationships, and creating safer, more emotionally aware communities. Whether you’re a professional seeking balance, a leader aiming to foster psychological safety, or someone simply learning to slow down and reflect, PocketEQ meets you where you are and grows with you.
