Roshni ka Safar helps you understand the Qur'an — one ruku at a time, in plain English and Urdu, the way a friend would explain it.
READ AND UNDERSTAND — FREE
• All 556 rukus explained in simple words, with translation, tafseer and a reflection for your life today.
• Tafseer under every ayah: tap "Tafseer" below an ayah to read our explanation of just that ayah.
• The Classic mushaf, prayer times for your city (works offline, with a reminder before each prayer), du'as, quizzes, and private notes.
• Learn to read from the very first letter: Alif-Ba, Noorani Qaida and tajweed.
WATCH AND LISTEN
• "This ruku in 60 seconds": short animated reels with the recitation.
• "This surah in 75 seconds": a reel for every surah.
• Audio explanations for many rukus.
MEMORISE — HIFZ TRAINER
• Five easy steps: listen, recite along, hide half the words, first letters only, then recite from memory.
• Link each ayah to the next, and see look-alike verses so you don't mix them up.
• A revision list (Sabaq, Sabqi, Manzil) brings each passage back on the right day.
ASK THE QUR'AN
• Ask about what is on your heart — marriage, worry, rizq, parents, grief — and get an answer built from the Qur'an's own verses, every one with its reference. Written answers, not a chatbot.
GO DEEPER
• Living Salah: understand every word of your prayer, step by step.
• Surah Groups & Blueprints: see how each surah fits with the ones around it.
• Tadabbur, word-by-word and 13-line mushaf, root meanings, the 99 Names, stories of the prophets, parables, a Ramadan planner, and two Urdu novels.
• Android home-screen widgets.
FREE, AND PRO
Reading stays free for everyone. Pro opens every study tool on all 556 rukus and helps keep this work going. Every Pro feature has a free part — for example, all ruku tools are free on rukus 1–20, and the Hifz Trainer is free for Al-Fatihah and Al-Ikhlas.
