Pain Journey is a simple, private diary for recording where pain is felt and how it changes over time.

Tap directly on an illustrated body map to mark painful or uncomfortable areas, choose an intensity, and save an entry in seconds. When more detail is useful, you can optionally record the type of pain, its impact on your activities, medicines taken and your own notes.

Built for quick daily use

Pain Journey is designed to keep routine entries straightforward. You can record a pain location and intensity immediately, without completing a lengthy questionnaire or creating an account.

More detailed body maps are available for the head, hands and feet, making it easier to record specific areas such as individual fingers, toes, palms and soles.

Review your journey

Your saved entries can be explored through:

• A chronological diary history• A calendar showing days with recorded pain• Colour-coded trends for different body regions• Filters for recent periods or specific dates• Appointment summaries that bring together frequently recorded areas, pain intensity, activity impact, medicines and notes

You can open previous entries to review their saved body maps or make corrections.

Prepare for appointments

Create a concise PDF summary from your recorded diary. You can save the PDF to your device or choose to share it with a healthcare professional.

You remain in control of the document and decide when, where and with whom it is shared. Always check the selected recipient before sending health information.

Conditions and medicines

An optional profile lets you keep a list of known conditions and usual medicines on your device. Medicines from your profile can then be quickly recorded within individual diary entries.

Pain Journey records what you enter. It does not assess whether a medicine is appropriate, provide dosage instructions or monitor treatment adherence.

Private by design

Pain Journey does not require an account.

Diary entries, conditions, medicines and notes are stored locally in an encrypted database on your device. Benchwink cannot view your diary.

You can create a password-protected portable backup when you want to move or protect your data. Automatic cloud backup of the encrypted diary is not used. Backup files and PDF reports saved or shared outside the app remain under your control.

Helpful reminders

Optional diary reminders can be configured for daily, multiple-times-per-day or weekly logging. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and can be switched off at any time.

Free and Plus access

The core pain diary remains free to use.

New users can preview Plus features for 30 days. Plus provides extended trend and appointment-summary time ranges. After the preview, Plus can be unlocked through a monthly subscription or a one-time purchase. Available products and prices are displayed through Google Play before purchase.

Important information

Pain Journey is a personal recording and communication aid. It is not a medical device, diagnostic service, symptom checker or substitute for professional medical advice.

The app does not diagnose conditions, predict health outcomes, recommend treatments or provide emergency guidance. Recorded trends and summaries reflect only the information entered by the user, and gaps in logging may affect the picture shown.

If you are concerned about symptoms or need medical advice, contact an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. For urgent or emergency concerns, use the appropriate local emergency service.
