BidRidge is a contractor estimate app and estimating software built by a working contractor in Alaska. Price the job on site from your own wages, production rates and margins. Text the customer a Good / Better / Best proposal they sign with a finger and pay from their phone. Then run the job: photos, change orders, sub work orders, invoices and close-out.

Who it's for
• Remodelers, general contractors and handymen
• Painters, tile setters, flooring and drywall crews
• Roofing, siding, concrete, deck, fence and landscape contractors
• Contractors who sell the job and sub out the labor

Price the job
• 13 trades, each with its own estimating workbook: exterior and interior painting, tile, flooring, drywall, bathroom remodels, rough and finish carpentry, roofing, siding, concrete, hardscape and landscape, decks and fencing
• Starting rates for your state and city. Replace them with your own numbers
• Good, Better and Best on every estimate, each with its deposit, gross profit and walk-away price
• Checks before you send: margin, walk-away price, deposit against materials
• Fast quotes from 21 templates, punch lists from about 75 tasks, line-item estimates and quick invoices
• Multi-trade projects on one proposal and one schedule
• Prevailing wage jobs: Davis-Bacon and Alaska rates

Seven designers (beta)
• Tile Layout Planner, Flooring Designer, Roofing & Siding Designer, Concrete Designer, Deck & Fence Designer, Cabinet Designer, Hardscape & Landscape Designer
• Roofing and siding estimates from a drawing: metal panel layouts, cut lists, trims, siding by wall
• Concrete joints, bar lists and pours; deck framing; cabinet cut lists; tile and flooring layouts
• Built into the app: open a designer from a job and draw with no signal, on a phone or tablet
• Quantities and extra labor go straight into the quote
• Free to draw in any browser. Drawing sets and sending to a quote work in the trial or with a license
• Layout and estimating tools, not engineered designs. Check code numbers with your building department

Sell the job
• Text or email a link. The customer picks an option and signs with a finger. No app or account for them
• They pay the deposit or invoice by card or bank transfer into your own Stripe account
• See when they open it, and get reminders to follow up
• Design agreements: bill for design time, flat or hourly with a cap
• Share a lead's email or text to BidRidge and the details fill in

Run the job
• Job photos before, during and after, with captions and rooms. Pick the ones that go on the proposal
• Customer portal: one link with every document, its status, the start date and the photos you pick
• Change orders at their own markup, signed before the extra work starts
• Sub work orders: the sub accepts your price or sends back theirs, and signs. Lien waivers tracked
• Purchase orders from the shopping list, confirmed by the supplier
• Job Pack, walk-through forms and selections the customer approves
• Deposit, progress and final invoices. Customers, invoices and payments go to QuickBooks Online
• Close out and compare your estimate with what the job really took
