BioMe is a wellness and performance companion app that helps users explore and understand their personal activity, sleep, body composition, and overall wellness trends. The app display metrics directly to the user, allowing them to track patterns, visualize trends, and use AI-powered insights for informational purposes. The app does not need external device to work. BioMe does not provide medical advice, diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

To deliver its core features, BioMe requests access to the following Health Connect metrics:

- Activity metrics (ActiveCaloriesBurned, TotalCaloriesBurned, Distance, Steps, StepsCadence, ExerciseSession, CyclingPedalingCadence, Power, Speed, ElevationGained, FloorsClimbed): Used to show energy expenditure, movement volume, vertical effort, workout intensity, and structured exercise sessions. Users can explore trends over time, visualize performance, and use AI insights to analyze patterns for personal information and wellness awareness.

- Heart and respiratory metrics (HeartRate, RestingHeartRate, OxygenSaturation, RespiratoryRate): Displayed to allow users to track cardiovascular and respiratory trends. AI insights help users understand patterns over time, relate them to activity, sleep, or body composition, and gain general informational insights.

- Sleep metrics (SleepSession): Provides historical sleep patterns, including duration and timing. Users can explore correlations with activity and recovery trends. AI insights allow pattern analysis to better understand sleep interactions with overall performance.

- Body composition metrics (Weight, BodyFat, LeanBodyMass, BoneMass, BodyWaterMass): Tracked over time to visualize trends and composition changes. Users can explore how body composition evolves in relation to activity, sleep, and hydration. AI insights provide personalized, informational analysis of these patterns.

- Hydration: Tracks user-logged fluid intake. Users can explore correlations with activity and body composition. AI insights allow users to understand personal hydration patterns.

- Basal metrics (BasalMetabolicRate, BasalBodyTemperature): Displayed to show baseline metabolic and temperature trends. Users can explore these metrics in context with other tracked data.

- Other metrics (BloodGlucose, BloodPressure, BodyTemperature): Displayed for pattern tracking and exploration. AI insights allow users to analyze fluctuations over time. All usage is informational only.

BioMe is designed to give users full visibility and control over their data. All metrics are displayed clearly in dashboards, charts, and history views, and can be explored with an integrated AI assistant to detect patterns, trends, and correlations. The app’s goal is to provide informational insights to support general wellness awareness, performance tracking, and lifestyle planning.

This access is essential for the app’s core functionality, as it allows users to see a complete, integrated view of their metrics and gain personalized insights across multiple areas of wellness and activity. Users remain in control of all data, which is used strictly to display trends and feed the AI assistant for non-medical analysis.
