Avoid fouled propellers caused by lobster and crab pot buoys. Go Pottie maps reported pots across UK and Irish waters so you can spot hazards before you reach them.

Never miss a hidden pot again. Go Pottie can automatically alert you when a reported pot lies ahead on your course—even with the app closed.

WHY YOU NEED IT

Unmarked pot buoys are one of the most common hazards on UK coastal waters. Low-visibility, below radar level, and impossible to spot at speed — they appear suddenly and they're expensive when they do. A single prop fouling incident can mean an emergency haulout, hundreds of pounds in repairs, and a ruined sailing passage.

Go Pottie puts every reported pot on your chart overlay in real time, so you're never caught off guard.

HOW IT WORKS

Any user can drop a pin when they spot a pot buoy. The map grows with every passage made by every Go Pottie user in your area. Every reported pot improves the map for everyone using Go Pottie. As more sightings are added, local coverage becomes increasingly comprehensive.
