Turnback is a private field-notes app for rough outcomes, missed calls, and the lessons they leave behind.

Not every outing, workout, errand, commute, or game session goes to plan. Sometimes you forget gear. Sometimes you turn back early. Sometimes you get no result after real effort. Sometimes the call was just wrong. Turnback helps you capture those moments quickly and turn them into better next-time decisions.

Instead of treating setbacks like something to hide, Turnback turns them into a reusable experience archive. Log what happened, why it went off track, what you would do differently next time, and what is worth remembering. Over time, the app helps you notice repeat patterns, recurring triggers, and the small mistakes that keep showing up.

### What you can do in Turnback
- Log rough outcomes in seconds
- Record activity type, outcome, reason, and next-time rule
- Attach an optional local image to an entry
- Review your archive by activity
- See recurring patterns in your records
- Build simple checklists before your next outing
- Keep reminder schedules on-device
- Store your notes locally in the current implementation
### Built for everyday life, sports, outdoors, and gaming
Turnback supports a wide range of activities, including fishing, hiking, camping, boating, road trips, grocery runs, commuting, gym workouts, running, basketball, pickleball, game nights, and ranked gaming.

That means the app is useful whether you are dealing with an empty hook, a wrong turn, a rushed departure, a forgotten item, a bad tactical read, or a tilted session that should have ended earlier.

### Why people use Turnback
- To stop repeating the same mistakes
- To prepare better before going out
- To remember what actually caused a rough result
- To keep lightweight personal notes without turning them into a diary
- To look back on patterns instead of guessing from memory
### Private by design
Turnback is designed around local use. In the current implementation, core entry content, reminder settings, and selected local image references are kept on-device. The app is intended to help you reflect and prepare without forcing you into a social feed or cloud-first workflow.

### Planned monetization
Turnback is planned as an ad-supported product in future versions. If advertising SDKs are introduced, related disclosures and privacy policy updates will be provided before release.

If you want a calmer way to learn from rough outcomes, Turnback helps you keep the lesson and carry it forward.
