Make your display quieter with Black Screen by Burney Developers. Start a pure black overlay in one tap, create your own night clock, or record camera video under a black overlay—all from a simpler, compact interface.

START BLACK SCREEN IN ONE TAP
• Choose Pure black, With clock or Custom text from Home.
• Double-tap the overlay to return, or use Stop in its persistent notification.
• Keep audio playing when the media app supports it. Playback rules and subscriptions are controlled by the media app.

PREVIEW YOUR CLOCK BEFORE YOU APPLY
• Browse digital, analog and text clock faces with previews of the actual designs.
• See your changes in a phone preview inside Style Studio.
• Adjust face size, placement, font, colors, opacity, date and available effects.
• Drag, choose an anchor or nudge the clock into position, then tap Apply.

CAMERA VIDEO WITH A BLACK OVERLAY
• Start from the visible app using a supported front or rear camera.
• Choose quality, frame rate, optional microphone audio and duration.
• Exiting a recording black overlay stops and saves its camera video.
• Use the separate camera mode for pause, resume and Stop & save; find your MP4 in Library.
• Android keeps its camera/microphone privacy indicators and recording notification. Recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
• Screen recording and screenshots are available as separate capture modes, with Android's capture permission. Protected content may be excluded. Internal app audio capture is not supported.

COMPACT CONTROLS, YOUR WAY
• Home options are grouped with clear toggles and quick access to settings.
• Choose AMOLED, Dark or Light app themes and accessibility preferences.
• Adjust the floating button's size, shape and placement.
• Use focus and sleep timers, ambient sounds, breathing tools and saved setups.
• Optional weather and sun times use approximate-area forecasts from MET Norway, with a location explanation before permission is requested.

OPTIONAL PREMIUM
• Use the free core experience, or complete an optional rewarded ad to add four hours of Premium when an ad is available.
• Monthly, 3-month, 6-month and yearly subscriptions unlock all themes and clock customization and remove ordinary ads.
• Your local Google Play price, billing period and renewal terms appear before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through Google Play. Restore purchases using the same Play account.

HOW BLACK SCREEN WORKS
This app creates a black or dim overlay; it does not physically switch off your display or bypass another app's playback restrictions. Pure black can reduce pixel power on OLED/AMOLED screens, while an LCD backlight stays on. Battery use depends on your device, brightness, clock and other running apps.

The app supports Android 7.0 and later. Features depend on camera/sensor hardware, permissions and Android background restrictions. Allow display over other apps to use the overlay. Recording starts from the visible app and has persistent controls. Use camera and audio recording with the consent of people involved.
