Stress Monitoring Station (SMS) brings three different kinds of signal together into a single, transparent stress score — so you can see how your body, your context and your own reporting line up over time.

WHAT IT MEASURES

The SRGC-3D Intelligence Model™ combines three dimensions:

• Physiological — heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep and blood oxygen, read from Apple Health, Health Connect, or a connected Fitbit, Oura Ring or Garmin device.

• Behavioural — an experimental webcam signal measuring eye openness and blink patterns. This runs entirely on your device using on-device face landmarks. Video is never recorded, never uploaded and never leaves your phone — only the resulting numbers are saved.

• Contextual — your own check-in: mood, perceived stress, activity and environment.

Complete all three for the most informative result. If a dimension has no real data for a session, it is marked as such rather than filled in with a guess.

COMPARED AGAINST YOU, NOT A POPULATION

Readings are compared with your own history rather than a population range. As you record more sessions, a personal baseline builds up and later sessions are interpreted against it.

TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN

• The overall score is a fixed, disclosed formula — not a black box. An AI model writes the plain-language explanation, but never the number.
• Confidence is capped by how many dimensions actually had real data, so a session with less evidence says so.
• The in-app methodology panel sets out what is measured, how, and what the known limitations are, with citations.
• Full raw data export, so nothing is locked in.

PRIVACY

• Webcam video is never uploaded or stored.
• Health data is read only — the app never writes back to Apple Health or Health Connect.
• Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.
• Export or delete all of your data at any time from Settings.

IMPORTANT

Stress Monitoring Station is a research and wellness tool. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical evaluation. The behavioural webcam signal is experimental. No facial-expression or emotion classifier is used — only observable measures such as eye openness and blink rate.

Requires an account. Health Connect features require Health Connect to be available on your device.
