The AIS Digital Dictionary is a powerful, specialized tool designed for medical professionals, trauma specialists, and emergency responders to accurately assess and code injuries sustained in automotive accidents. Developed by the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM), this app provides seamless access to the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS)—the internationally recognized standard for injury severity classification.

Key Features
- AIS Code Search & Selection
Effortlessly search for AIS codes by entering medical terms such as head, neck, foot, or by browsing injury descriptions. Quickly locate and assign the most precise injury classification for each patient case.

- Case Management System
Create and manage patient cases with ease. Add key details such as patient name, age, gender, and injury location, then systematically document injuries using AIS codes to ensure comprehensive assessment.

- Automated Severity Scoring
Each case dynamically calculates and displays critical injury severity metrics:

ISS (Injury Severity Score)
NISS (New Injury Severity Score)
MAIS (Maximum Abbreviated Injury Scale)
These scores provide a clear representation of the patient's condition, assisting in triage and medical decision-making.

- 3D Injury Visualization
Gain deeper insights into patient injuries with an interactive 3D anatomical model. The 3D View highlights affected areas on a digital skeleton based on the injuries added to a case, offering a visual representation of trauma impact.

- Localization for Precise Injury Documentation
Enhance case accuracy with injury localization. Specify the exact site of an injury—such as left foot or right second toe—to ensure clarity and consistency in reporting.

- Reference & Documentation Access
Stay informed with integrated access to medical guidelines, FAQs, and key reference documents, ensuring that practitioners have the latest resources at their fingertips.
