DermoShelf turns the ingredient list on a skincare product into a single, clear verdict that respects your skin profile.

WHAT IT DOES
- Scan a barcode, snap a label photo, or paste a product link.
- We pull the ingredient list, compare it against your allergies, conditions, and existing routine, and return BUY / CAUTION / SKIP FOR NOW.
- We explain the verdict — which ingredient flagged, why, what the source is.

WHY IT EXISTS
- Cosmetic counters are loud. Pretty packaging is convincing. The ingredient list rarely fits on a phone screen.
- DermoShelf is an anti-impulse layer between the desire to buy and the decision to swipe.

WHAT IT IS NOT
- DermoShelf is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure anything.
- Verdicts are based on the ingredient list and your self-reported profile.
- Always read the on-product label before applying anything new.

PRIVACY
- Photos you take to scan a label are uploaded to a private, user-scoped bucket and auto-deleted within 24 hours.
- We never sell your data. We never train AI on your data.
- Usage analytics (PostHog + Amplitude) are off by default and consent-gated — you opt in during onboarding and can withdraw any time from Profile → Privacy. Crash diagnostics (Sentry) are collected under App Functionality (legitimate interest), PII-scrubbed, and never used for tracking. Push notifications are revocable from Profile → Notifications.
- Account deletion is one tap from Profile.

REGION
- Data is processed in the EU (Frankfurt, Supabase eu-central-1; Sentry EU; PostHog EU).
- KVKK and GDPR compliant. Right to access, erasure, and portability are exposed in-app.

PERMISSIONS
