Shikshak Calendar - Bihar is a personal calendar and diary app for teachers in Bihar's schools. It brings period bells, tasks, the school holiday calendar, your leave record, leave application letters, notes and a daily Panchang together in one app, in Hindi or English.

Independent app, not a government app: it is made by a private developer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Bihar or its Education Department.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Today at a glance – whether today is a working day or a holiday in your calendar, pending tasks, days to the next holiday, today's Panchang and a thought for the day.

• Period bells and timetable – enter the class and subject of each period once (Monday to Saturday). The app gives a notification or alarm when each period starts and ends.

• Tasks and reminders – add reports, meetings or training with date, time and priority. Get a reminder before each task, a morning list and an evening summary.

• School holiday calendar – month-wise holiday list and calendar, with a reminder before a holiday.

• Leave diary – record casual and other leave and see how many days are left.

• Leave application letters – choose leave type, dates and an optional reason; the app writes a draft letter in Hindi or English. Edit it, then print or share it as an A4 PDF.

• My Notebook – lesson plans and meeting notes with checklists, photos, drawings and voice typing.

• Panchang for your district – sunrise, sunset, tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana and Rahu Kaal.

• Thoughts and posters – 600+ thoughts; make a poster with your name and photo and share it.

PRIVACY

No login, no ads, no tracking. The app has no internet permission: your entries are stored on your phone and leave it only when you share them (or through Android backup, if you have turned it on). Voice typing uses your phone's own speech service, which may use the internet under that service's policy.

SOURCE OF GOVERNMENT INFORMATION

Leave balances and Panchang are calculated by the app for personal reference. Orders can change: always confirm with your school or District Education Officer.
