Most AI listing tools write marketing copy. Buyers don't want marketing copy.

Ask any eBay or Etsy buyer what ruins a listing and you'll hear the same thing: three paragraphs of adjectives that never say what condition the item is in, what it measures, what's wrong with it, or what's in the box. That omission is the biggest cause of "item not as described" claims — and a return costs you the sale, shipping both ways, and your rating.

CraftCopy writes the other kind of listing. Facts first. Selling last.

CONDITION-FIRST BY DEFAULT

Every description CraftCopy generates follows the same order, every time:

• One plain sentence stating what the item is
• CONDITION — what you selected, in specific words
• SPECS — dimensions, weight, material, model, size, fitment
• FLAWS & NOTES — every flaw you disclosed, stated plainly
• WHAT'S INCLUDED — what ships, and what doesn't
• Then, and only then, at most two sentences of sell copy

No "your truck deserves better." No "premium game-changing must-have." Just the details a buyer needs to decide, in the order they want them.

IT WILL NOT MAKE THINGS UP

CraftCopy never invents a measurement, material, model number, or condition detail you didn't give it. If a size wasn't supplied, it leaves the size out instead of guessing. If you didn't list flaws, it writes "no flaws noted by seller" rather than claiming the item is mint.

An admitted gap costs you nothing. A confident wrong spec costs you a return.

START WITH A PHOTO

Photograph the item and CraftCopy reads it — what it is, the category, the condition it appears to be in, and the flaws visible in the shot. Everything comes back as editable fields, because you're the one holding the item. Correct what the photo got wrong, add the measurements only you can take, and generate.

No photo? Type the product name instead. Both work.

FOUR PLATFORMS, ONE ACCOUNT

Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, and eBay each want something different. Etsy wants a warm title and 13 SEO tags. Amazon wants benefit-driven bullets and backend search terms. eBay caps titles at 80 characters. Shopify wants your brand voice.

CraftCopy formats for the platform you pick — title, description, bullets, and tags — so you're not reformatting the same product three times or paying for three separate tools.

TITLES BUILT FOR HOW BUYERS ACTUALLY SEARCH

Titles use the full character allowance instead of leaving a third of it empty, and numbers are written as digits because that's what buyers type. For clothing and footwear, size and department go in — a shoe title without a size is close to invisible in search.

WHO THIS IS FOR

- eBay resellers and thrift flippers listing used goods, where condition is the whole ballgame
- Etsy sellers who want strong titles and tags without the research rabbit hole
- Amazon sellers who need compliant bullets and backend search terms
- Shopify owners who want on-brand copy without hiring a copywriter per SKU
- Anyone who has eaten a return because a description overpromised

Every field has a one-tap copy button, and every listing is saved to your history so you can reuse language across similar items.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

Most AI listing tools optimize for copy that sounds good. That's the easy half, and it's the half that generates returns. CraftCopy optimizes for the listing a buyer trusts enough to buy from.
