ExcellentMe is a daily character-strength and mood-tracking app grounded in positive psychology. Twice a day, tell it how you feel and get one small, doable exercise for the character strength you're building, from bravery and gratitude to perseverance and kindness.

WHY EXCELLENTME

Most self-improvement apps hand you the same routine as everyone else. ExcellentMe starts by asking how you actually feel, then matches your mood to a character-strength exercise built for that exact moment, a mood tracker and a growth plan in one.

FEATURES

• Morning & evening mood check-ins with an optional reason, so patterns become visible over time
• 24 VIA character strengths: bravery, gratitude, perseverance, kindness, honesty, humor & more
• A private journal for daily reflection, with room for photos
• A gratitude jar for quick notes of thanks, plus a gratitude collage to turn them into a keepsake
• Short guided meditations matched to your current character strength
• A new quote every day: save your favorites, share the ones that land
• Gems and streaks that reward consistency, not perfection

BUILT FOR PARENTS, TEACHERS & CAREGIVERS

ExcellentMe asks a question most wellness and mood-tracking apps skip: was a child watching when you lost your patience or when you handled it well? For parents, teachers, grandparents, and caregivers, that turns personal growth into something bigger than yourself: modeling calm, resilience, and character for the next generation.

GROUNDED IN POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY

ExcellentMe's character-strength exercises are inspired by published research, including the VIA Classification of Character Strengths (Dr. Christopher Peterson & Dr. Martin E. P. Seligman), Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (Dr. Ryan Niemiec), Flourish (Dr. Martin E. P. Seligman), and research on sustainable happiness (Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky). Content is written independently and is not endorsed by these researchers or institutions.
