Car accident. Water damage. A move-out walkthrough. When the photos matter later, FactLockCam records them in a way you can check: each photo or video gets a signed capture record the moment you take it, so a later edited copy will not match.

CAR ACCIDENTS
Shoot vehicle positions, damage panels, road signs and lighting before the cars are moved. Each accident photo carries its GPS location and a capture timestamp from the device clock, and the signed record is publicly anchored as soon as you are online. Send the package to your insurer or the other party's adjuster.

LANDLORDS & TENANTS: MOVE-IN / MOVE-OUT
Walk the unit room by room at move-in and again at move-out. Each inspection photo, with its GPS location, is sealed into your encrypted Archive on the device with its own capture record, so a deposit dispute can come down to two dated, tamper-evident sets of photos instead of memory.

INSURANCE CLAIMS & ADJUSTERS
Document property damage, storm losses or a job site as you find it, with GPS location recorded for each insurance claim photo. Send a password-protected .flcproof package to an adjuster, landlord, customer or attorney. They open it in their own browser at factlockcam.com/open. Nothing is uploaded and no app install is needed. Certificate Studio makes a printable summary for the claim file.

WHAT YOU SEND
- One password, one package: the original file and its signed capture record
- Three separate checks for the recipient: file, signature and public record
- A printable certificate for the claim or inspection file

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Sealed media stays in an encrypted Archive on your device. Only you hold the keys. Our servers never get your photos, and the public record holds only a hash: no photo, no name, no location.

HOW THE PROOF WORKS
- SHA-256 fingerprint: the moment you capture, the app hashes the exact media bytes. Change one byte and the fingerprint no longer matches.
- Signed manifest: the fingerprint, file size, type, UTC capture time and key class go into a canonical capture manifest signed with your key.
- Polygon anchor: when the device is online, the manifest hash is published in a public Polygon transaction, establishing that the exact file existed by then.
- Browser verification: recipients check the file, the signature and the public anchor locally, as three independent results.

WHAT IT DOES AND DOES NOT PROVE
FactLockCam verifies that a file is byte-for-byte the one that was captured and signed, and that its record existed by the time it was anchored. It does not verify the physical truth of the scene. Each capture record discloses its device_key_class; hardware attestation is not claimed.

Anchor the original before the story changes.
