The right decision starts with the correct diagnosis. The Farm Medix platform brings every test result, treatment record, and vet recommendation into one place, on the phone already in your pocket.

Farm Medix is a New Zealand owned diagnostic laboratory. Fifteen years of culture data, from farms across New Zealand, Australia, North America, Europe and Asia, in every system from seasonal pastoral calving to year round housed herds. That experience is what the platform runs on.

Your farm already detects mastitis. Sensors, herd testing, and experienced eyes at milking. The platform picks up where detection leaves off.

IDENTIFY

Every result lands in one place the moment it is ready, alongside a full treatment and diagnostic history for every animal. International gold standard surface culture microbiology, made practical for everyday farm decisions.

FCDC, on farm culture. Lab quality pathogen identification at quarter or cow level, on farm or at your vet clinic. Results in under 24 hours, 23 pathogens detected.

Snapshot, bulk tank farm assessment. One test profiles the pathogens and hygiene factors driving your herd's mastitis, cell count and milk quality, and pinpoints the root cause behind each one. You get a prioritised, farm specific action plan that treats the source rather than the symptom, so you understand what is driving your herd and can take control of its performance.

Herdscreen, whole herd cow by cow testing. Finds hidden Staph. aureus carriers and a wide range of other mastitis pathogens, including subclinical cows with a low cell count, and gives you a clear starting point for herd control.

SOLVE

A corrective, targeted response at both levels. Your Snapshot results drive your farm actions. Your vet's own signed off protocol drives your animal actions.

Adjust the details for your farm in a few taps, and let the platform handle withholding period calculations automatically. Every dose, time, and team member is recorded as you go, ready to use as your farm record or export to any system as a CSV file.

PREVENT

Long term control, at farm level and cow by cow. Track your actions and your results over time, and see the pathogen patterns behind them, so you know what is driving your herd's performance, where to improve it, and how to reduce unnecessary antibiotic use, year after year.
