Bring structure to every film-development run.

Latent is a local-first darkroom companion for planning, timing, reviewing and recording film development. Keep the details that matter—film, chemistry, tank, reel and process—together from setup to history.

PLAN YOUR RUN
• Build repeatable processes for black-and-white, C-41, E-6 and ECN-2.
• Select film, chemistry, equipment and working quantities before you begin.
• Review each stage and timing in one place.

WORK WITH A PURPOSE-BUILT TIMER
• Follow development stages while you work.
• Keep agitation, transitions and notes visible.
• Record the completed run for later review.

BUILD A USEFUL DARKROOM RECORD
• Maintain film, chemistry, tank and reel catalogues.
• Track practical inventory.
• Review run history and preserve the context behind each result.
• Export your data manually whenever you choose.

LOCAL FIRST
Your darkroom data is stored on your device for ordinary use. Latent does not depend on live cloud synchronisation.

ACCESS AND RECOVERY
Google sign-in provides account identity, one-time trial eligibility, purchase restoration and hosted recovery. Start one explicit 30-day trial when you're ready. Continue with a one-time full-access purchase through Google Play—no app-access subscription.

Hosted recovery keeps encrypted, service-managed recovery points for three successful backup days. It is best-effort recovery, not live sync or permanent archival storage.

Latent is workflow and timing software, not chemical-safety guidance. Always follow chemical manufacturer instructions and safety data sheets.
