SafePing automatically detects when you can no longer respond — and alerts your emergency contacts by SMS with your last location. No manual check-ins. No needless false alarms.

Your contacts don't need an app.

WHO IS IT FOR?
--------------------------------------
Solo travelers, backpackers, hikers and lone adventurers, business travelers in high-risk countries — and anyone who lives alone and wants someone to know when something goes wrong.

HOW IT WORKS
--------------------------------------
SafePing receives regular silent lifesigns from your phone — no daily check-in required. If the lifesigns stop (no signal or no activity beyond the threshold you chose), SafePing checks in with you first: you get a pre-alert by push (optionally by email too) and have 30 minutes to tap "I'm fine". If you don't respond, your emergency contacts are alerted automatically by SMS — with your last known location and a link to the alert details.

Important: The SMS to your contacts is sent by our server — the SOS button therefore needs an internet connection. SafePing does not replace emergency services — in acute danger, always call the local emergency number first.
